you really got the redundancy in life in this short movie, how life comes to be and how individuals battle each other and this sadness resulting from it leads you to another level of existence...

just awesome...

this is exactly why christmas exists... it may started by some religious people but in the end (at least for me) it is only about having people around you and spending that intimate time with them... simply a feast for you and those people to get together and be happy with each other...

mirrored reality

first: the mimics are awesome...
and this feels like reality somehow... people want you to "smile" so that they can assure themselves that you're not thinking too far... and even trying to catch up with the mass, a thinker can never stop thinking and that's what he's punished for
grotesque but still the end sequence kinda shows those dirty little secrets the big bosses/many people have and thinkers (or whatever you interpret) are just too dangerous for those kind of people...
that's at least my solution and my opinion, don't blame me for that if I'm mistaken

it's just awesome to see that film noir hasn't died yet... people have always tried to find a definition for what film noir actually is, but now they just need to watch this movie...
